The Hundred: Format, Teams and How to Follow Live Scores
The Hundred is a fast cricket format in England with just 100 balls per side.
What it is
The Hundred is run by the England and Wales Cricket Board. It has men's and women's competitions with eight teams each.
Format
Each side faces 100 balls. Overs are replaced by sets of five or ten balls, and a bowler can bowl five or ten balls in a row.
Why it matters
The Hundred was made to bring new fans, especially families, to cricket with a shorter game that ends in about two and a half hours.
How to follow it live
When matches are on, they show on the Crease live page with the score, the over by over story and the final result. Use the schedule page for upcoming fixtures and the results page for finished games. Exact dates and squads change each season, so check the official site for the latest.
